Americans for Prosperity Action, a political network, has decided to suspend its financial support for GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley’s campaign. New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu, a supporter of Haley, believes that a nomination of Trump could be problematic for Republicans in down ballot races. Sununu thinks that Haley can still attract the necessary funding to prevent a second Trump presidency. Last month, Haley raised $16.5 million. Despite losing the Republican primary in South Carolina, Haley has stated that she will continue campaigning at least until Super Tuesday next month. Sununu believes that Haley’s ability to win is crucial for Republicans.
