1890s-era Deephaven estate sells for $7 million
A 2010 remodel included new framing, HVAC system, plumbing, electrical, siding and interior finishing.

According to an electronic certificate, the 4,769-square-foot home, which was extensively renovated by Excelsior-based Landschute in 2010, sold Jan. 5. The property is situated on half an acre and has 125 feet of Lake Minnetonka shoreline. According to the listing, there are also gardens and a mature tree canopy, as well as a boathouse near the water. The sellers were identified as Mary Monson and David Monson. Annual taxes on the property are $46,184. According to Hennepin County property records, the property was sold in 2009 for $2 million.
