Another coffee chain plans 40 locations between Austin, San Antonio
The latest coffee company interested in roasting beans in Austin is Utah-based Beans & Brews Coffeehouse. Here's what we know about their plans.

Tim Hortons first announced plans to open 45 franchises in the Austin metropolitan area. Two weeks later, Beans & Brews Coffeehouse from Utah announced its plans to open 40 new locations in the Austin-San Antonio corridor within the next six-years. Brame Holdings, LLC, which recently announced that it will bring 40 Round Table Pizza locations and 40 co-branded Fatburger Express locations to Texas, executed the 40-location agreement. Beans & Brews is looking for other franchisees in Austin, Falk stated in an email. Beans & Brews locations average 1,700 square feet. Beans & Brews currently has 68 locations in four states, with 50 more under construction. The Austin metro area has been a hub for coffee franchise development. Dutch Bros Coffee is the fastest growing coffee company in the region, along with Tim Hortons and Beans & Brews. According to Texas Department of License and Regulation filings, several additional Dutch Bros locations may open in the region, including South Park Meadows and Loyola Lane in Northeast Austin and at intersection of FM620 and Little Oak Way, Round Rock. The TDLR filings can be changed throughout the development process.
