Ascension Saint Thomas Behavioral Health Hospital names Greg Sizemore CEO
The Ascension Saint Thomas Behavioral Health Hospital has named Greg Sizemore as their new CEO.

Nashville's hospital has a brand new leader.
According to The Nashville Post, Greg Sizemore is now the CEO of Ascension Saint Thomas Behavioral Health Hospital. He replaces Jim Spruyt who is retiring.
The hospital will open in MetroCenter at 300 Great Circle Rd. in 2021. It is a joint-venture between Ascension Healthcare and Acadia Healthcare.
According to The Post, Sizemore served as CEO of Perimeter Behavioral Hospital Jackson for most of the last decade.
According to an American Psychological Association study, the demand for behavioral health services such as mental health and addiction treatment has skyrocketed ever since the outbreak of the pandemic. The number of psychologists who report an increase in referrals from 2020 to 2030 doubled.
Ascension Saint Thomas has 12 hospitals in Middle Tennessee. In 2022, the health system will employ more than 10,700 individuals in the region. It will also provide more than $180 millions in community care.
