Former Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price joins real estate private equity firm
Former Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price and two others have joined the executive of a real estate private equity firm focused on multifamily and industrial investments. 'Even with a possible slowdown in the economy, we are preparing for growth,' said the firm's chairman and CEO, Ben Loughry.

In a prepared statement, Ben Loughry, Overwatch Chairman and CEO stated that they are currently invested in Dallas, San Antonio and Corpus Christi, South Texas and Austin. We also continue to invest in Nashville, Tennessee and South Carolina. There are many more opportunities in the future. Price was Mayor of Fort Worth from 2000 to 2021. Loughry stated that 50 properties were purchased, which included over 10,000 multifamily units, 650,000 square feet industrial, and a transaction value of $1.34Billion. Bond will be Overwatch Fund's Chief Financial Officer. Kromann joins the firm from First National Bank where he was market leader. He will be Overwatch's principal. Kromann was an active investor in real estate and has participated in over 85 transactions in commercial real estate, including multifamily and industrial sectors with more than $4 billion in assets.
