FARGO — Tim Sticha, who has held senior financial leadership positions with Carlson Companies and the Radisson Hotel Group, has joined Forum Communications Co. as chief financial officer.'This is a new role for our company and a signal of our company's commitment to growth and long-term success,' FCC's Chief Operating Officer Bill Rouse said. 'Tim brings over 20 years of broad-based financial leadership to FCC.'Sticha held a variety of financial positions over a 20-year span with the privately held Carlson Companies. Most recently, Sticha was the CFO for Radisson Hotel Group.Rouse said Sticha will bring 'great strategic planning skills and business acumen,' to FCC.'Tim has a passion to build strong relationships and work within a family-owned business,' Rouse said. As part of FCC's executive team, Sticha will lead the finance team and report to Rouse. His responsibilities include leading financial reporting and planning, budgeting, forecasting, tax, credit and treasury duties.He 'will be a great resource for future acquisitions' with his 'significant experience in real estate investment and management,' Rouse said.Sticha has enjoyed working at The Forum since starting in November.'The people have all been very welcoming and easy to work with - they also have a passion for the success of the business. The family ownership and long-term perspective attracted me to the company,' he said.Sticha was born in New Prague, Minnesota, where he grew up and graduated from high school. He earned an accounting degree at St John's University in Collegeville, Minn. (near St Cloud). He is a certified public accountant.Sticha and his wife, Andrea, have been married for 25 years. They have two sons, one an eighth-grade math teacher in Burnsville, Minnesota, and the other a junior at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.He enjoys being active and spending time outdoors, including duck and pheasant hunting in the fall.
