The two sides reached an agreement on Sunday night just hours before their existing contract expired. The new contract covers about 260,000 UPS employees who are Teamsters, as well 70,000 others. UPS and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters reached an agreement on a five-year contract to prevent a possible strike by approximately 330,000 package drivers and package sorters.
