Yogurtland was established in Irvine, California in 2006 by Phillip Chang, CEO. Chang first noticed the appeal of frozen yogurt in his boba shop's menu, according to a statement. Fortune Business Insight estimates that the global frozen yogurt market will grow to $2.14billion in 2028 due to the increased popularity of healthy eating and the pandemic. Yogurtland is following the same trend and has added non-dairy options and tried new menu items like smoothies, fruit bowls, and shakes to its menu, according to a statement.
